Family Togetherness Initiative

With moms, dads and kids on the move now more than ever, especially during the summer months, how do families fit in time “together” when they are being pulled in so many directions? Families must make time in their schedule for their family, and not by sitting huddled around the TV. Focusing on your family and strengthening its bond is something that lasts with your child for a lifetime and is passed on to future generations; family time also in turn helps to build character, morals and values for our young people, the hope of tomorrow. This is at the core of IndyParentSource’s values and mission and is why we are committed to families throughout Greater Indianapolis with our Family Togetherness initiative.

Throughout the quarter, July 1—September 30, in both the eNewsletter and on the website, IndyParentSource will provide families with resources, tips and information on how to set aside “together” time and create genuine experiences with your family. IndyParentSource will spotlight businesses providing products and services to families and will highlight family-focused community organizations, all with the greater purpose of making Indianapolis a more family-centric place to live.

• Practice family “togetherness” habits in your household, utilizing all the free resources, information, and tips and family-focused organizations within our eNewsletter and on the website.
• Share your family ideas, tips and resources to enter our various family contests throughout the quarter.

Make it a "Family Business"

Family Togetherness Sponsorship $500 (July 1-September 30)
Let families know you value family time—providing outlets, resources, products and services focused on the family and its needs.

• Basic Business Listing Package, which includes annual listing in all applicable categories with the following: business name, address, phone number, link to your website, and description of your business; Your business can offer a Local Perk, a discount available to IndyParentSource families.
  

• Your business will be posted on our homepage under New Business Listings for a minimum of two weeks.
  

• Your business will be profiled in one e-newsletter.

• Your business will have an advertisement with hyperlink to your website in all five e-newsletters.
  

• Your business will have the ability to contribute one Family Togetherness article.

• Your business will be included on all our Family Togetherness marketing materials.

• Invitation to annual IndyParentSource Mixer for listings and sponsors only (Fall 2009).

Family Togetherness Advertisements $100 per e-newsletter

Applicable discounts: Non-profit organizations receive 25% discount; NAWBO, Rainmakers and Chamber members receive 15% discount.

With any new listing or sponsorship, starting at just pennies a day, your business can recieve one parent eNewsletter ad for free (value $100). If your business has a listing or sponsorship, you can receive half off any parent eNewsletter advertisement. This offer is good from now until September 30th. • Same benefits as the basic package for non-profit and religious organizations only.
• Opportunity to post needs & volunteer opportunities on Families Giving Back & be profiled as the "Non-Profit Spotlight”.

Seasonal Package / $140 year ($0.38 day) 

• Same benefits as the basic package.
• This applies to Summer or Seasonal camps that do not offer other programs throughout the year.

Premium Package / $430 year ($1.18 day)

This is a great package if you do not have your own website.

• Same benefits as the Basic Package.
• You will receive a link to another "personal" page that includes your logo, menu, a more detailed description and/or a schedule.

Misc. Details: 

 

• We can post all your CALENDAR EVENTS! If you would like us to post all of your calendar events for you, ask us for details.
• Payments: Businesses & Non-Profits need to pay for 12 months in advance to receive the listed package rates. Package prices are based on a one year contract.
  • If you would like to have your listing split into 2 payments, you will need to get approval in advance.  There is a 10% surcharge added to your listing fee without approval.
  • If you would like to pay on a monthly basis for a listing, it is $50 per month. (This cannot be applied to the annual fee if you decide to convert.) The reason we do not encourage the monthly format is that it is not a service to the parents. Our site works because parents know they can find resources year round.
• Rates are effective October 1, 2008. Rates are subject to change without notice.
