    Information on Quality Moving Blankets

    January 24th, 2012 by admin

The best moving blankets are those that will keep cargo protected from scuff marks and scratches and will last through multiple trips and moves should that be necessary. The common fabrics used for the manufacturing of these blankets are cotton/polyester blends, non-woven polyester and woven polyester. The average moving blanket will be 70” x 80” and should have zigzag, heavy duty stitching for strong binding and consistent cushioning.  The better quality moving blankets will be heavier in weight from 75 lbs. up to around 95 lbs. All of these factors will lead to moving blankets that are durable and will last through multiple trips without ripping or fraying.
