The Multiple Uses of Moving Blankets

Moving blankets are generally used for transporting cargo and protecting it from the average wear and tear that can be incurred during transit. The heavier the blanket the better protection will be provided and the longer the moving blanket will last. Moving blankets are not generally considered comfortable enough to use as household blankets between moves but they can be utilized for other endeavors such as sound proofing and can also be effective as pet bedding. Most moving blankets will be about 72” to 80” in size and range in weights from 43 pounds to 95 pounds. They are also available in a variety of colors and in certain prints.
